Whitwell Hall Country Centre

Project Description

We aim to make the operations of a residential countryside children’s charity more environmentally sound by the incorporation of energy saving technology. Our Reepham LCCC project involves three new energy efficient boilers, solar thermal hot water, and improvement to the thermal performance of our buildings.

Benefits

Through improved energy efficiency we can expand our operations in having children’s groups from the local community to stay at the Centre.

Implementation

We carried out an energy audit of the current operations of the Centre and assessed which improvements would bring the greatest benefit to the energy efficiency and which would produce the biggest carbon reduction.
