Project Description

The project is to refurbish the inside of St Michael’s Church to make it a vibrant, warm and usable community facility that can be run as economically and sustainably as possible. This will be achieved by the installation of a ground-source heat pump, with three 100 metre deep bore-holes, and under-floor heating. St Michael’s adjoins the parish church St Mary.

Benefits

The refurbished Church will be a versatile facility with good access for more people who will be able to appreciate some of Reepham’s heritage. The under-floor heating will make the building warm and comfortable; and a range of services can be provided by the modern commercial catering kitchen.
